Description: The seminar “Affective Mapping of Chinese Cities” attempts to investigate the urban “structure of feelings,” emotional topography, sentimental cartography, imagined geography, performative psychogeography of nostalgia and longing, epiphany and loss, as well as melancholy and hope evidenced in modern Chinese urban experiences.
