Satomi Li has been teaching Japanese at Rutgers University since Fall 2013. She grew up in Japan, and got her bachelors of arts at Tokyo University of Foreign Studies in 2000. She then came to NYC and got a dual master’s degree at NYU in 2003, majoring in Japanese Language Education and TESOL. She has a NY State 8-12 teachers license in Japanese and taught Japanese at a NYC public high school for four years. She has also taught at the Japan Society, Cooper Union, the New School, and FIT. Level of what she has taught range from beginners to high intermediate both at the high school and university levels.
