Grace Jinyoung Kim has been teaching English and Korean in Korea and the U.S., for more than 13 years. She first joined the Korean program at Rutgers as a candidate for K-12 Korean language teacher in fall 2015 and joined the department of Asian Languages and Cultures as a lecturer in fall 2018. She also has been working in a private institute, teaching Korean to students with diverse background as an assistant principal. She believes creating rapport in the classroom is the most significant factor in successful language learning.
