Jane Huang joined Rutgers’ Department of Asian Languages and Cultures in Fall 2022. She graduated from Penn State University with a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and a minor in Japanese, and later earned her master’s degree from Rutgers University with a focus on Chinese pedagogy. In addition to her expertise in Mandarin, she excels in Cantonese, Hakka dialect, advanced Japanese, and intermediate Korean.
She teaches Chinese language courses across all proficiency levels and actively contributes to curriculum development and course innovation. With expertise in immersion-based Chinese instruction, she excels in crafting tailored curricula that foster deep understanding and engagement with both the language and culture, while designing courses that address diverse learning styles.
