Kyoung Moon has been teaching Korean at Rutgers since 2016 after several years of teaching Korean at a local community school. She received the Certificate Eligibility for Teacher of Korean (K-12) issued from the New Jersey Department of Education after studying at the Rutgers University Graduate School. She later earned her master's degree from Rutgers University in Korean pedagogy. Prior to coming to the US, in South Korea, she worked as an Editor & Translator for Encyclopedia Britannica after graduating from Seoul National University with a BA in Western History. Her research interest is in world language pedagogy, multicultural pragmatics, and heritage language learning.
