Su Young Lim has been working in taditional Korean art for a long time, and is currently working on developing her own unique creative work in this traditional style.
In this workshop, students will share their New Year’s greetings in 2023 by drawing a picture of the Korean
traditional word ‘Subokdo’(meaning longevity) on top of gold leaf. This Korean tradition is done with the hope
that the students may wish good luck and the best for their family and friends. This simple and sincere technique is thought to encompass and contain the joy, happiness, love, and eternal life that exits in human nature.
